The Hoogwegt Group of companies was among the first in the food sector to recognize the need for traceability in order to ensure food safety and quality consistency.
To guarantee the quality of all of our products we have a specific approval for our suppliers. One of these criteria is that the supplier needs a GFSI benchmarked certificate, like for example BRC, IFS or FSSC 22000. The other suppliers are approved when meeting strict requirements of Hoogwegt. Our goal is to have all of our suppliers and production facilities GFSI Benchmarked certified.
Hoogwegt Cheese has been certified according to ISO 22000 and HACCP standards. We also have an AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificate, which demonstrates that our role in the international supply chain is secure.
